Structure Fire Little Creek Apartments Complex - Little Creek Apartments

At 1230 Sussex EOC dispatched Laurel, Delmar, Sharptown and Medic 102 to a structure fire at 106 Little Creek Apartments on W 7th Street. Command 81 with Asst. Chief Steve Brittingham arrived on scene with smoke showing from side "A". Asst. Cheif Brittingham assigned Engine 2 to side "A" and and ordred the crew to advance an 1-3/4" handline to the #2 floor. The crew advanced the line into the structure and found a kitchen fire with possible extension. Engine 4, Tower 81 and Engine 74-2 assigned to ventilation and to check the apartments above the fire floor. Truck 14 assigned to check for overhaul. A-81 and Medic 102 was assigned RehabEngine 1402 and Rescue 74 redirected to Station 81 for the cover assignment. Fire was placed under control at 1250. FM 11 was assigned to the scene for investigation. Units Responding: Command 81, Engine 2, Engine 4, Tower 81, A-81, Truck 14, Engine 1402, Engine 74-2, Rescue 74, Medic 102, FM-11.
