MVC with Vehicle in Ditch - Old Stage Road

On Sunday morning Oct. 24th at 2:59 hours LFD, Medic 102 and Aviation were alerted for a MVC with a subject reported trapped on Old Stage Road, north of Gordy Road. Deputy Chief Mike Lowe responded as 81 Command. Rescue 81 responded with Capt. Aaron Carey as officer. Upon arrival Dep. Chief Lowe assumed Old Stage Road Command and found one patient being assessed by the Crew from Medic 102. Medics advised the patient was a possible refusal but needed to be removed from the vehicle. The crew from Rescue 81 assisted the victim in exiting the vehicle. Crews remained on the scene about 30 minutes.
