2 Vehicle MVC on Sussex Hwy - Sussex Hwy & Waller Rd

On July 22,2009 at 12:55 Sussex County EOC alerted Sta. 81 for a motor vehicle accident on Sussex Hwy in the area of Waller Rd. 81 Command responded with Chief Brittingham. Upon arrival he found a two vehicle MVC with an initial report of two BLS patients. The crew from Engine 81-4 responded and assisted with patient care. An ambulance assist was requested out of Sta. 71 Blades. Both patients were packaged and transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for non life threatening injuries. At 13:15 the situation was placed under control. Units remained on scene to assist with traffic control until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
