Congratulations to LFD Members, Jeff Hill, Tara Truitt, Brett Morris and Brandon Givens on completing the National Fire Academy "Incident Command for EMS" Course. The Course was conducted June 27th and 28th at the State Fire School under a partnership between the Fire School and National Fire Academy.......

LFD Participates in Maryland Convention Parade

On October 17th a group of firefighters and their families from Laurel took place in the Maryland Volunteer Firemens Association Parade in Ocean City. Members were very proud of their appearance after a few years of not attending. The group was described Judges as the "Chicago of the East".

On Monday May 18th the Laurel Fire Company went to the DSFS in Georgetown for Flammable Gas Training. 22 members attended, and did several evolutions with different size propane tanks. Thanks goes to DSFS instructors Craig Farren and John Clawson for sharing their knowledge.
