Honoring Cpl. Keith Heacook

The officers and members extend our thoughts and prayers to the family of Cpl. Keith Heacook of the Delmar Police Dept., the Delmar Police Dept. and the entire Delmar community. Cpl. Heacook responded to an in progress complaint during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 25, 2021. Cpl. Heacook sustained critical injuries during the course of the investigation when he was assaulted and was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday April 28, 2021. Cpl. Heacook served the Delmar community and surrounding areas for 22 years. Cpl. Heacook will have his organs donated to help save the lives of those who need them. We offer our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Sir.
