Assist Blades On Large Control Burn

On Saturday April the 8th the LFD assisted the Blades Fire Company on a large control burn in downtown Blades. Firefighters burned 4 large commercial buildings down, in preparation of extending growth to the town. It took approx 5 hours to complete this task. Seaford, Georgetown, Sharptown, and Marydel......

LFD Conducts Control Burn

The LFD with the assistance from the Sharptown FD conducted a large control burn of an old barn near the Delaware/Maryland line. Firefighters started approx. 1900 hours and were clear about 2100 hours. A thanks goes out to all the personnel that assisted.
