MVC - West St

Tuesday morning, 19 Oct 2004, at approximately 0815 hrs, Laurel Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision, on West St. Ambulance A-81 was the first unit on scene, with career EMT''s, Tull and Deery, with 81 Command soon behind them. 81-18 (Steve Brittingham) assumed command, with a single vehicle into a structure. The vehicle had made contact with a garbage truck and then ran into the structure. 81 Command advised second responding unit, Ambulance A-81, with Deputy 81 (Lowe) and EMS Lt (Condon), to assist the crew from Ambulance B-81 with packaging a single pt. Rescue 81 responded, with 81-15 (Sheridan). Rescue 81 was responsible for stablizing the vehicle and debris clean up. Pt was loaded into Ambulance B-81 and transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, priority 3. Scene was placed under control at 0824 hrs. Responding units, B-81, A-81, 81 Command, Rescue 81, ENG 81-4.
