Standby crews respond during December 2010 Winter Storm

Chief Jeff Hill organized standby crews from Sunday Dec 26, 2010 through Tuesday Dec 28, 2010 to handle any calls in the Laurel Fire District. Crews logged over 955 man hours and responded to 15 calls for service. The most serious call was to assist Sta 74 (Delmar) with a working structure fire at 36192 Bi-State Blvd in blizzard like conditions. The Officers would like to thank all the members that provided time to assist with the standby crews.
